SONYA GRIFFITH grew up in a family that placed great emphasis on "the table" as a place to develop interpersonal relationships and strengthen bonds.
Sonya was born in Kearney, NE and raised on a farm near Litchfield, NE. She was taught at a young age "family values" and the importance of "hard work".
Cooking alongside her grandparents, she acquired a passion for food, making homemade noodles, cinnamon rolls, sugar cookies, and homemade ice cream.
Helping her father on their small pig farm, she learned her hard work ethics.
The recipe that she holds close to her heart to this day is her grandpa's sugar cookie recipe. People always ask what makes them so yummy? She responds
by saying "I can't tell you grandpa's secret ingredient".
Sonya has owned and worked in numerous retail venues, including cooking and food related businesses. She is currently a partner along with her husband, Mark,
in a small catering business. Sonya & Mark enjoy spending time together in the kitchen cooking, preparing and entertaining for their family and friends.
